Enjoy a sensational journey of wines from unusual regions & varied wine making techniques at this unique food & wine event for Friends of Good Food Month. Discover extreme wines, alternative varietals, 5 shades of amber, island wines and wines aged in amphora, from regions such as Greece, Turkey, Canary Islands, Portugal and more.
Whether you’re a wine aficionado, or new to exploring different and unique wines, come and join us for an afternoon of wine exploration each Saturday in October.

When: 4pm – 5pm each Saturday in October
Cost: $120 per person
Includes: 5 different wines (60ml pour) with 5 snacks matched to the wines, discussion & chat about the wines, PLUS you’ll take home a bottle of your favourite wine from the event. Limited to 8 people seated at the bar.

If you would like to stay on for dinner with us we suggest making a booking when you book this event as tables may not be available on the day.
Extreme Wines: wines grown in extreme conditions, from vineyards above cloud cover on a volcano, to extreme slopes, you will discover how extreme grapes still flourish in these locations and to what lengths Vignerons go to cultivate and nurture these crazy vineyards.
Alternative Varietals: Take a punt on lesser known indigenous varietal for the chance to be won over by a new favourite. You may discover something you’ve never heard of before. If you’re willing to try something new join us at this event.
5 Shades of Amber: You may be surprised to know that Amber wines are made from white grapes with the skin left on. If you like a bit of extended skin contact perhaps this is the wine event for you.
Island Wines: Cruise around the European islands one wine at a time and discover how the salty Mediterranean Sea features can reveal itself in these wines. If you’re dreaming of an island get away, come along to this event.
Wines aged in Amphora: Wine aged in clay, or amphora, is a far from new practice, in fact this ancient wine making technique originated about 6,000 years ago. Come and explore wines that have been championing this practice for many years.

As this is a limited capacity event, prepayment is kindly requested.
For cancellations, a full refund will be provided up to 72 hours prior to the event, 50% refund 48 hours prior and a refund will not be provided with 24 hours or less notification prior to the event.
